Zurich Australian Insurance Limited (Zurich) has won the Australian General Insurer Claims Team of the Year Award at the 2019 Insurance Business Awards.

The Australian Insurance Business Awards define excellence in the insurance profession, recognising leading companies and individuals for their outstanding achievements over the past 12 months.

Since 2016 Zurich has invested significantly in its claims proposition, with innovations including:

• Priority Repair Service for sedans and light commercial vehicles
• Priority Settlement Service for small property claims
• ZTrack ZFleet Navigator for fleet operators

These efforts have seen a significant improvement in broker and customer advocacy; since 2016 the likelihood of brokers and customers recommending Zurich, based on their experience of a single claims transaction, has risen by 216%.
