Zurich Australian Insurance Limited (Zurich) has today announced that Matthew O’Sullivan will take on the new role of Head of Motor & Marine, Australia & New Zealand.
Mr O’Sullivan has been Zurich’s Head of Marine, Australia & New Zealand, and Zurich’s Asia Pacific Marine lead since April 2017. He has been Zurich’s acting Head of Motor since April 2019.

An experienced leader in the industry with nearly three decades’ underwriting experience, Mr O’Sullivan joined Zurich in 2014 as Head of Marine, Property & Engineering lines. Prior to joining Zurich he held senior underwriting and account management roles with Aon Benfield and Munich Re. He has an MBA from Macquarie University and a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Sydney.
