Workplace Trauma - what is it and what can we do to limit the risk from it?

Presenter: Fiona Perrin, Senior Risk Engineer, Zurich Resilience Solutions

From journalists in war zones to care workers during Covid, from reviewing distressing content online to emergency service workers attending a disaster or a truck driver seeing a road accident.

Fiona Perrin has been working with companies and workers exposed to a variety of different types of trauma for many years and is trained in Trauma Risk Management (TRiM).

Experiencing a traumatic event, either in person, or vicariously can happen to anybody, at any time. Research tells us that there are some things that can be done to limit the effect that these events may have on individuals.

Fiona will share some top tips and strategies for dealing with this. Learn strategies to minimise the impact of traumatic events on individuals and organisations and understand how to create a supportive workplace.

This webinar covers:

  • Understanding Trauma & PTSD
