The Zurich Risk Advisor (ZRA) app is a valuable digital tool that provides self-guided risk engineering expertise, when and where you need it.
Adam Ryan, Capital Works, Infrastructure and ICT Manager from Ballarat Clarendon College, used the app to perform a self-risk assessment for building risk and cyber risk:
“I downloaded the app and ran a check against our systems — and our thinking. It’s helped reinforce best practice approaches to a number of risk items. And it certainly provides thought-provoking statements around where we think we should be in our journey in relation to risk items, particularly with cyber.
“Plus, it’s easy to use — after downloading the app, I started running some assessments against our conditions to gain valuable insight to benchmarks and best practice. The resulting ranking (gauge) is a good temperature test for understanding your environment and where it sits in response to your insurance position and what you can do to achieve best practice.”
Conducting a risk assessment is about knowing you’ve got all bases covered, and that’s where the app is especially useful. In Adam’s words:
“I find apps like this useful when I need to do prepare reports such as board meetings. It is always good to do a sanity check against a third-party tool, particularly when it comes to risk and/or cyber risk.”
